We’ve let you guys recover from Fashion Weeks for the past couple of weeks and decided to cover one of the biggest awards shows on television! Its Oscars night!!
Point.Blank.Period. loves the glamour and the glitz that this night brings, always wondering how it feels to actually grace the carpet with wonderful gowns and jewels. This year was a disappointment for us, just because there was a famine of color! Our favorite stars relied on blacks, metallics, pastels, and pale tones. *sigh*
So working with what we’ve got, we’ve compiled our list of Best Dressed..take a look as you watch your television for tonight’s biggest fashion and acting moments!
See more stunning looks after the jump..
Sandra Bullock turned to Elie Saab for this sheer and beaded gown. She usually opts for a simple silhouette with a bang in more of the texture but it works for her. Sleek hair and simplistic makeup, we adore!
Once again we have black and metallic, but Halle Berry doesn’t disappoint in this number. Wearing Versace and created for her by Donatella, she looks amazing!!!! Her inspiration was to look like a Bond girl and she looks like the epitome of one! Halle.. THANK YOU for showing us what sultry, sexy and sophisticated looks like!!!
E! Host that we all adore, Giuliana Rancic, looked flawless in her Jean Fares Couture. We are loving her new cropped hair and it compliments her slim frame so well. This dress was immaculate on screen and looks great in photos and that’s what a great stylist does because that’s what matters!! 😉 Hats off to Giuliana!
Silver and Chic we call Naomi Watts!!! She opted for this all silver gown that makes her look radiant! This Armani Prive’ gown does Naomi well!
(We warned you that the best looks were metallics and black number) And working the heck out of this Naeem Khan dress, is Stacy Keibler. She graced the red carpet with her statuesque model frame and we loved every every inch of it! This dress seems as if it was made for her and her only! She wears it well! She chose Giuseppe Zanotti for footwear, Lorraine Schwartz jewels with a Tiffany & Co. bag. ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR HER!
ZOE!!! WE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!!! Absolutely breathtaking gown as the detail on the top gives us flair while the layers at the bottom give us glamour. This was our runner up to the Best Dressed of the night and we thought this was something different and unsafe. The Oscars dresses never give us this much personality and Ms. Saldana in this Alexis Mabille Couture gown paired with Neil Lane jewelry gave the punch of the night. We would have preferred for her hair to be swept back in a soft chignon but we will take this look any day over most of the actresses that attended the Oscars.
Kelly Rowland strikes again!! She gave us life at the Grammy’s and she does it again at the Oscars as one of the red carpet hosts for the awards show. She did extremely well in her Donna Karan Atelier gown. Minimal jewelry looked great with her high detailed gown and her updo with bangs showed off major shoulder!
Charlize Theron gave us the excitement we needed tonight. She is pure perfection in this Christian Dior Couture gown. The chest split with a train was stunning on her and let’s not forget her hair! Its something about a woman who can rock a short haircut. Exuding confidence we love her! And for that, she is our BEST DRESSED!!!! 2 snaps for Charlize!
So let’s end this post with a little fun! The Oscars has a category for Hairstyling & Makeup, so its only right we mention the best hair and the best makeup tonight!!!
Hollywood’s sweetheart, Reese Witherspoon, walked along the red carpet with flawless hair. We loved the body wave and swept to one side – just awesome! Full of volume!
So we’ve also awarded someone for the best makeup which happens to be Jennifer Lawrence. Her lip is amazing and lets not get started on the eyelashes…we love and adore her look! It accentuates those blue green eyes of hers, which brings out her hair color.
